PGSRM 2007 Organizing Committee would like to thank all the attendees from both academia and industry for making this year's meeting a huge success.

The Pharmaceutics Graduate Student Research Meeting (PGSRM) provides an excellent forum for graduate students to present their work in a peer reviewed environment. It presents an opportunity for students to meet colleagues from the academia and to establish contacts with representatives from the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, students benefit by attending interview sessions held by potential recruiters. The meeting attracts around 300 graduate students in the field of pharmaceutical sciences from universities across Midwest.

The objectives for the PGSRM 2007 are:

  • To foster interaction amongst students from different universities to discuss their research in both professional and social settings

  • To provide a platform for graduate students to present their research in the form of posters and podia

  • To expand research horizons by participating in scientific workshops

  • To gain insight on career perspectives in pharmaceutical industry by participating in career-based workshops

And finally, we wish that our 'City of Fountains' charms you with its enthusiasm and grandeur and makes your visit a memorable one. See you in Kansas City!
